I am extremely excited to announce a new travel endeavor, the World Capture Project.
The World Capture Project is a travel challenge, documentary, photo book, and story-telling challenge all wrapped up into a one-year, 180-country challenge.
I will travel the world for an entire year, visiting 180 countries and finding 180 stories through 180 photographs (one for each country I visit) and documenting the entire experience on film. The end products will be a documentary film surveying the challenges and exhilaration of traveling around the world for an entire year and a photo book containing the 180 photographs alongside a textual explanation of the story behind each photograph.
There will be no producer on this project to find filming locations or to arrange photographic opportunities for me. I believe that part of the challenge and thrill of doing something like this is the idea that you can just walk out into the world and discover people, places, and stories without having the plan things out from start to finish.
Real people, raw experiences.
